Alejandro Mazenett

Over fifteen years building companies in two worlds that rarely coexist: he ran his own service businesses —a bar, a fast-food spot, and a hostel near Tayrona National Park— and, since 2018, builds technology product, today as Product Owner. From there he brings two criteria that almost never go together: that of traditional business —suppliers, inventory, cash, the indicators that are truly measured— and that of digital product —agile methodologies, incremental delivery, taking what's defined all the way to running.

He has founded, scaled, pivoted, and also closed projects. His first bar closed when he was 19, due to management and cash-handling mistakes: it was the lesson that most shaped his judgment about the difference between billing and earning. From each closure he took a yardstick to evaluate assets, business models, and processes, and turn them into solutions simple to implement and solid to sustain.

His method begins with diagnosis: he observes and audits the entire operation to understand the flow and detect what fails or doesn't exist, and from there he plans, designs, develops, and implements —complete solutions, not patches over symptoms—. Before and alongside MAI he co-founded a technology product still in development; within the group he built Agensfy, today the portfolio's first company.

He's one of those people who walk down the street and connect two companies no one had connected, who spot a cultural problem and design a viable economic answer. If in the duo Aimee safeguards the soul, Alejandro is the one who sees far: the one who opens visions and connects projects before others see them.
